Steps to create a watercolour clock using spray paint

(1) We started by experimenting with our colours and the water spray to get the look we wanted. We choose three colours on the warm spectrum and sprayed them freely over teh watercolour paper. We then sprayed water over the top and let the colours run together and then the sheet of paper dry.

(2) Then we took apart the budget clock we bought online, you could also use a charity shop clock if you are lucky enough to find one.

(3) We used the clock face frame to trace a circle on the back o the watercolour paper, cut it out and glued to the clock face. At this stage you can also spray the clock face with varnish to protect the finish, this step is optional.

(4) Next we sprayed the hands with Pinty Plus Tech primer for plastics and left to dry. We did the same for the clock face frame

(5) Once the primer was dry (about 20 minutes) we sprayed with Evolution acrylic spray in Signal White

(6) Finally we reassembled the clock
