Step by step to make an inscription with raised letters on a canvas
Before starting, we use pencil to prepare a draft of the lettering and transfer it to the canvas, you can also use downloadable templates. Do not press too hard with the pencil as dark impressions may require more paint to cover.
Once we have the drawing ready on the canvas, we will use a glue pen and we will go over the pencil mark. This adhesive is perfect because it has the thickness and speedy drying that is needed for this project, however if you don't have a glue pen, you can also use a glue gun. We let the adhesive dry completely before painting. When it comes to choosing a colour for the canvas, take inspiration from your hoem decor and the photos already on your gallery wall. Pastel shades look good anywhere, but for this stretch of white wall, the stone color is perfect.
